One of the most well-known and well established online bingo operators is Cassava. However, lots of people have criticisms of Cassava, and therefore advise that you look for online bingo sites which are not owned by the company. Cassava sites are often also Dragonfish sites, largely because Cassava is owned by 888 Holdings, who also own Dragonfish. These sites typically tent to use Bridgend payment software, so if you watch out for any of these names and words attached to a bingo site, you will know that it is a Cassava site and you therefore might want to be careful before signing up to it. To help you out, here is a list of a few of our favourite online bingo sites which don’t have anything to do with Cassava.

What is good about not being operated by Cassava?
So why would you want to play on a bingo site which is specifically not operated by Cassava? After all, they have a very big following and run a large range of sites which are very popular amongst players. However, there are a few issues with them which mean that some bingo players might wish to avoid them.
To begin with, nowadays there are actually very few sites which are not run using Cassava Software, and as a result, a lot of these sites end up being very generic. If you genuinely enjoy they types of games and promotions on offer, then this isn’t such a bad thing. But what if the types of games which are available to you don’t appeal to you? If this is the case, then it may be that you won’t be interested in the bonuses, promotions or games on offer – or even that you simply don’t like the atmosphere and design of Dragonfish or Cassava run sites. In which case, you may wish to scout out a bingo site which better suits your needs.
Other people also don’t like Cassava because they are known for banning people from claiming too many bonuses or else playing too many free games. This includes banning from other Cassava sites of which they are not yet a member.
What makes our recommendations different from a typical Cassava bingo site?
So how are our suggestions different from Cassava? For a start they all run unique promotions and deals which make them stand out and give you a greater variety of choice. They also offer a different range of slots games for players to enjoy. And they do not carry out the practice of bonus banning.
How can you spot a Cassava bingo site?
As mentioned, Cassava is strongly affiliated with Dragonfish, so if you see a site which mentions them, then you know that it is probably a Cassava site. They tend to have slots games like Fluffy Favourites and Cleopatra – although sometimes these games to appear on sites like Costa Bingo.
There are loads of sites which are not managed by Cassava, so why not give them a go? Enjoy!
